We are proud to operate farms in North GA and Western NC where the fresh, unpolluted rains fall on some of the greenest pastures of the Appalachian Mountains
We decided to purchase Blalock Meats in 2010. That gave us the opportunity to pursue different avenues for our beef.
Our farm has been selling halves and whole beef for a long time. With the purchase of Blalock meats it allowed us to reach more people with our product and also to sell retail and wholesale cuts of beef, pork and lamb.
Our beef and lamb are raised on some of the finest pastures in the US with lots of room for the stock to move around and clean mountain water to drink.
We always want to leave the land better than we found it. That is why we incorporate rotational grazing with all of our animals and pastures. This allows the animals to always be grazing fresh grass and also be putting nutrients back into the soil.
This leads to healthier animals and better tasting meat.
We finish our beef on grain to add flavor and tenderness.
Our beef and lamb are never given antibiotics or growth hormones and the grain that we feed our beef is free from antibiotics and growth hormones.
We buy our pigs from a local farmer. They are raised without antibiotics and growth hormones. Just like our own animals, they are pasture raised with room to roam and fed grain with no antibiotics or growth hormones.
We take pride in producing a safe and quality product for the consumer that is raised in a humane and healthy environment and at the same time leaving the land better than it was before.
